The Vivaldi Game

Everyone can play - here is how it goes........

Take an admired musician/composer from a previous century and make a statement reflecting how he/she would relate to the musician/composers of this century.

It must follow this format:

If XXXXX were alive today ..................

Here are some examples:

If Vivaldi was alive today he would be a jazzman and an admirer of Brubeck.

If Puccini were alive today he would write the greatest movie soundtracks.

If Beethoven were alive today he would have written a concerto for Wynton Marsalais.

Note: I will be the judge of the best submission and you get extra points for humour.

If Mozart were alive today Andrew Lloyd Webber would be a little less well off...

If Lennon were alive today he would marvel at the talent and versatility of Damon Albarn.

If Ian Curtis were alive today, the last three New Order albums wouldn't have been made.

If Bach were alive today he and Magdalena would get visited by a counselor in family planning.

If Vivaldi were alive today he would refuse to do the Four Seasons live in much the same way that Bowie won't do Changes, Ziggy, etc.
