The SilentSwitcher. Has anyone used this in their build?

I was thinking of using one of these (just for the +- 15v) to power a THAT driver (https://www.neurochrome.com/product/that-driver-2/) to provide a balanced output from a Pi DAC HAT in a Squeezebox (https://www.audiophonics.fr/en/boitiers-diy-boitiers-divers/rasptouch-chassis-accessories-and-touchscreen-7-kit-diy-black-p-11250.html). However, I may just use the IQAudio Pi-DAC Pro instead.

It's a shame that he has no more boards available. There are a few in the DIYA store (https://diyaudiostore.com/collections/kits/products/linear-audio-silent-switcher) but I don't know for how long.

I've just put one of these in my dac, currently using a single board to power wavio, toslink receiver, spdif>i2s board, i2s switch and curryman dac. Single 5v output is powering all the digital stuff and 15v bipolar output on the curryman output stage. Replaced two largish linear supplies with hynes shunt regs. Something relatively trivial for me to get back into doing diy before starting on the qudos build. Currently running it off a 5v mains usb charger. Tried a usb power block but the waveio current draw runs that down too quickly. Tempted to get a 2nd board to run separate supplies to different parts, especially as the new boards can have the bipolar output down to 5v and supply enough current to run the waveio.

Anyone else used these? Be interested to hear experiences. I did note JohnW mentioned there's not great HF noise filtering, so would be interested to know if putting a usb noise cleaner on the supply would offer any improvement.

I've just ordered one for a Bruno Putzey preamp project. May be a while until I try it though, still searching for a VolCB PCB to replace the volume pot.

Well I now have two of these boards in my dac. One powering the waveio board and isolated i2s output, and the other the rest of the gubbins. Waveio SS is running off a 5v usb charger, the other SS board running off a usb power bank (waveio far too current hungry to make that viable).
