Damn, I wish I could be there. Being pretentious about The Fall is one of my favourite pastimes

This week, I happended to meet a guy that did FOH sound for The Falls way back.
He was recounting some stories that didn't mean anything to me to be honest as I'm not a fan. He did make me laugh though when he told me about dropping Mark off at his rented house after a gig around 5am. He'd had "rent issues" with the landlady and she'd threatened to change the locks so he told the driver to stick around until he got inside.
Turns out she had changed the locks and cue some shouting in the street that ended with Mark running flat out from the opposite side of the street to break down the door. The guy was watched all this unfold in the cars rear view mirror. Most of the street was out too watching the show by this stage.
