Bloody Colonials
Is it my bias, or is this a great album? There's always a danger when one finds a new album and likes it big-stylee right from the kickoff, that a few weeks later it's consigned to the back of the stack.
Hasn't happened for me yet! I wouldn't even go so far as to say the Dandy's have discovered any new chords. A little irreverrance, some grungy electro-pop, and loads of fun.
I like it. I like it a lot.
It's still pretty different from a lot of the set I saw them play at Virgin 2000, though. That was almost HUnters & Collectors circa 1987 with the horn sounds etc.
Anyway, I digress. Anyone else into this album?
