Some may have seen the big mechanical bull that has been a huge hit since the opening of the games . Took months to make and was due for yhe scrap heap . A petition has saved it . Good news for a change

I think we've all seen it, even those of us like me who have little interest in the games. It's a brilliant piece of sculpture and engineering, it deserves to be seen and appreciated.

Of course the BBC reporter needs to go back to school…. Described it as 10 feet (didn’t mention height or length). It is somewhat larger than 10’ !

Only caught it on the news, at the games and it’s future as a poetic return to scrap. Nice reprieve!
