The piece of kit that's made me smile the most is the RME ADI-FS 2 DAC.

Interesting how different people can perceive the same component. #9 #30

It’s probably my LFD PA2M (SE) power amp.

It has the positive attributes associated with LFD gear i.e. non-fatiguing sound, very natural and liquid mids and top end, but with vicious slam (when the music demands) and probably the most tuneful, natural deep bass I’ve ever heard from an amp.

LFD’s lower power amps like the Zero and PA0 are a bit underpowered for me, but then I do enjoy a bit of hip hop, metal or drum & bass.
