It has 3 loops for external pedals and lots of memory slots for you to save your favourite sounds.
I will also include the custom pedalboard I made to house it and for mounting the pedals that you might want use in the loops. It had midi switching and can also change channels on your amp. It truly is a very versatile pro musicians effects unit.
