A wonderful pair of the Tannoy Lancaster with the iconic Tannoy Monitor Gold 15” Dual Concentric drivers. Both speakers are working as they should and are in an overall very good condition considering their age, 48 years old! The speaker model is probably most famous for being used in the Abbey Road Studios during the recording of Pink Floyd’s Dark side of the moon.
Only downside are the tears on the speaker cloth on one of the speakers. We decided not to replace the cloth on both speakers to something non-Tannoy, and leave this to the new owner to decide what to do.
The speakers has only had one owner since new! They have been used with Quad 303 in the early years and later on with Cyrus amplifiers.
