I've no idea, I've not got round to trying my JR149s yet, but I'd be very surprised indeed if it was good with either speaker. These are very low power amps, as with much modern audio I suspect the ratings were exaggerated too, reading around I get the impression they are more like 5-8wpc rather than the advertised 15-20. I suspect they only have any real audiophile potential in the world of very high efficiency speakers. I fancied trying one as, JR149s excepted, all my speakers are 95db or greater, and with the Klipsch Heresys and La Scalas I'd say it was a very nice little amp indeed.
