So if the record is spinning at exactly the correct speed but the pitch is slightly off on the recording maybe. Sometimes I'm glad I have terrible pitch ;-)

it's a cracking amp! Very punchy with plenty of detail overall.The depth snd tunefulness of bass is one of the first things that struck me.
If i'm honest, I was expecting to be underwhelmed by the DAC, but to my surpise it's very good. Not overtly micro detailed, but what there is just enough.
IMO,'it's character seems like a much improved Elex R rather than the Elicit R.
Also a thing to note, it runs fairly hot!

Beforehand, I had a Rega planar 3, Naim XS3 and a Chord Mojo 2. I still have.the Mojo 2.

Worth hearing the Elicit for sure.
