Thanks both.
It was Farrow and Ball Purbeck Stone, but having a shaded west facing window we changed it to Crown Imperial Gold and liked it so much we have taken it through the whole of downstairs bar the kitchen.

It's "just" a WT Simplex. I have moved from a Dynavector DV20x2L to a XX2mk2 cartridge and now have just 38 hours on it and it seems to be getting better and better.
The move to the P75 mk4 was quite a nice surprise too!

Yes, from a P75 mk3. Was quite surprised to hear such a difference. I really only changed because I liked the look of the mk4 and one came up with a decent price that meant I wasn't too much out of pocket!

Back in these years, B&O was alone in its own league in terms of design. So nice I would put one in my living even if not connected to play music !

My BO tape deck and turntable both work perfectly! There is a guy in Europe that rebuilds those cool sapphire cantilevered tiny MI carts, which I have.
And I am generally very impressed by the well laid out systems shown, with ample space and ability to connect cables in the back without damaging YOUR back. My system is far too busy by comparison. But 8 turntables need more space that a normal living room provides.
