herefore I (only speaking for me) disagree with "a rug is better then no rug".

Paraphrasing this in the light of Theresa May's uttering, ' No rug is better than a bad rug'.

Often stated by people.

This is what I do.

1) go to Postimage.org ( you my need to do some kind of sign in, I can't remember )

2) You will see this page..https://postimages.org

3) In the two drop down menus firstly choose image size ( say , for 17"monitor ) . Then leave the other drop down as "no expiration.

4) Click "choose image".A drop down menu gives you choices of target files ( on my Mac I choose "pictures" because that is where my pictures are.Navigate to and select your image.

5) In the options now given I choose 'direct link' and I copy the url offered

6) Back on Pink Fish and when you are posting a thread click on the option that looks a bit like a postcard ( next to the smilies ) ..a pop up box appears and you can paste the url you saved of you image address into where in says 'image url' . That image will now appear in your thread.... like this...

By comparison to some of the wonderfully diverse systems on here, mine seems pretty dull, but it works for me.

I've seen your system evolve over the years but nSats to SL2s. That must be different. Gone back to the Fraim too. Nice.

I have also come up with a temporary storage solution form my VPI armwands...an old Pelican case. Air tight!

Peli cases are fab!!

The system:

The room:

The rug: Turkish. Bought by my wife's grandparents in Turkey in the 1950s. We have three more.

The Replacements: courtesy of @Tony L

The bridge: Williamsburg.

In less-important matters, the system is:

An LP12 with Kore, Radikal, and an Aro. Cartridge is a Dynavector 20x2L -- the two small boxes just behind the 'table are a Dynavector SUP-200 step-up transformer and P75 phono stage.

Digital duties are courtesy of a Sonore ultraRendu and Uptone Audio LPS 1.2 power supply, which are connected to my latest addition: an RME ADI-2 DAC, which is pretty damn great. These items are sitting on the "CCCP" book, which is a photo collection of bizarre Soviet architecture. Beneath the book is my trusty, ever-faithful CD5, which is goosed by a Hicap 2 on the lower left.

Amp is a 282, CB Hicap with Avondale TPR4, and 250.2. On the far left is a KingSound headphone amp.

Speakers are the Devore Fidelity Gibbon 8, which are made just across the East River from me in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

my feelings about English football were formed in the late 1990s, watching Fox Sports World in my college dorm. accordingly, I love Arsenal. also accordingly, I love Leeds and need them to make it back to the Premier League so i can have one more team in the division to root for. (it appalls me that Kroenke is using Arsenal as a cash machine to finance a new stadium for the Rams in Los Angeles.)
