I heard a track by this band on a recent KScope sampler and thought that is rather good. It so happened that the other day I chanced upon this so snaffled it up. Played it this afternoon. Jolly good I say.
I know very little about this band other than a quick google earlier. It seems they have been going for a while now and this is their fourth release. I see this being described as art rock. Don't know, but a fine album, played by fine musicians, super recording quality, some great songs with all manner of influences. The song structures make this a very interesting album, throw in some excellent vocals and harmonies eg Longstretch, and out of the mixing pop comes a very fine record.
