Hi
I’ve just acquired a Supex 900 to replace my AT F7, unfortunately the four male pins on the back of Supex are a lot thinner than on back of the AT so the connectors tags are way to big , any suggestions would be appreciated .
Thanks in anticipation
Martin

That was always a problem with Supex, decades ago. The original Koetsu was based on the 900 and had the same quirks.

All you can do is, delicately, squash the tags a little bit to make a snug fit.

As above.. It does take the delicate hands of a surgeon sire but it is possible to nip the ends of the cartridge tags to reduce the size of the gap. I have done this with a steady hand and a pair of small pliers. Sometimes you get the opposite problem where the tags need opening!

Any good with a soldering iron?
If you are OK, change the tags to the Cardas dolly-peg type - they will fit ANYTHING (almost) - the simplest, most user-friendly design imaginable - actualy logically designed, as so many great designs are.
(I have used and still have a Supex - actually my very first, ever cart' - free with my LP12/Ittok)
