Sticky Problem

The dust cover of the newly arrived Xerxes has packing tape residue stuck to it. I'm wary of using solvents for fear of damaging the acrylic.

Any bright ideas?

orange essential oil. Pretty much anything citrus should be fine.

I had some stuff called goo-gone which is citrus-based, if I can find it (eg if I still have it) I'll bring it over for you.

I'd agree with Rico, we have some special label remover at work, and that is Orange Oil based.

It's astonishingly quick and effective, bit of a miracle product!
