I'm listening to a Mongo Santamaria compilation LP Mongo Soul released by Riverside in 1969. Original US pressing (I don't think it's ever been reissued anyway)
It has typical mid-sixties stereo with percussion on the left channel and brass on the right etc.. until about halfway though 'Get The Money' when it suddenly becomes mono. As the stereo is so extreme the effect isn't subtle!
Next track is fine... I'm wondering what could have happened. Did someone accidentally lean on the Mono-izer button?
