Stands for Tannoy Lancaster

Hi,

Has anyone had stands made or come up with solutions of their own. I wondered about a new untreated railway sleeper. I think mine need to go up by about 6 - 9 inches (No attempts at adult humour please)

Cheers

Kevin

I'm sure PFM's resident Albert Pierrepoint could proffer some advice, having embarked on a similar, if slightly scaled down project recently, Basil?

Not stands , but ..

I tilted my Chatsworths back a little ( just a wooden baton behind the front plinth ) so that they fired up towards my ears rather than my chest .

Might be worth trying , it's easier to try than stands and arguably easier on the eye too .

There is a big following of Tannoy's in Hong Kong and I found this thread in the review33.com Take a look on this thread:
http://www.review33.com/avforum/ and type in Tannoy 同好會

These guys are mad!! and so dedicated as well. They used the concrete kerbs that used for roadsides and claimed to have amazing result.
