I love the more offbeat comedians like Doug Stanhope" I'm Doug Stanhope and that's why I drink"!

Just watched and he is superb, always a few steps ahead of the audience.

Had Bill Hicks lived would he be classed as high as he is today?

Didn't he only get about 4 hours of material out?

Oh and I forgot George Carlin (shame on me). A was true master of the comedy craft! He had a deep insight and was not afraid to tackle the heavy subjects like religion. He combined this with razor sharp wit and perfect comedy timing.

I really miss him.
