Hi,
I have a chance of one of these very nicely priced. I would use it as a transport to my Naim DAC-V1.
Can anyone tell me how they are with CDRs which I do use occasionally?

I'm almost certain it'll be fine with CDR.

As a general rule it's only the first and second generation players from the '80's that can sometimes struggle.

This is the one with the puck? I used to have one - the reason I stopped playing cds - until I got an Audiolab 8200cdq. The sound was just not right to my ears. cant say why just didnt. You have to be careful with the puck, not to put it on the tray with out a cd or bit of paper or you wont get it off again - the magnet is that strong. I did and getting it off broke some thing some where. Maybe better as a transport with an external dac? I think I used it with cdrs.
