Hi everyone . Just signed up to PFM . I am a member on HIFI WIGWAM and one of its members said there is someone on PFM ( Micky) who may be able to repair my Sony 777es ..
The Sony has been apart of my life for 20 years and had sat on my rack all that time and never missed a beat .
Sadly it seems it hasn’t taken kindly to its new home .. looking on forums etc it seems I have been very lucky that it’s lasted so long ..I have no idea what the problem is but would , if possible like to have it looked at before it goes into my museum if it can’t be fixed ..
I have absolutely loved this player and the music it has given me over the years .i have heard many CD players but the 777 just does it for me ..alas if it can’t be fixed trying to find something to replace it will not be easy ..
The rest of my system comprises a Cambridge edge pre/streamer ..linn LP12 ittok,, Vincent hybrid 332 and Cabasse Karas ..
