sony alpha 6000 (test photos)

this was intended as a travel camera for my parents, but i may borrow it once in a while -- compact, light and don't have to worry about theft. very surprised at the quality of the kit lens. a couple of test sets posted here:

Nice. I like #3 in the second set especially.

Are the pictures OOC or jpgs or processed raws? I like the colours and snappy contrast. Makes a change from the flatness of so many pictures I see with lifted shadows.

I have an interest in this camera, but am hesitant from reports of varying quality control with Sony lenses.

the pictures are processed and i did enhance contrast (using "curves"). a good camera should give flat results in most situations (light) -- you then decide how to render from that neutral starting point. sort of like shooting film (unless its something like velvia).
