Sony A7 III - anyone else here pre-ordered?

Currently I’m using a Canon 7D and was looking to upgrade to a full frame DSLR.

Also, prior to the Canon I was using a Samsung NX10 and I miss chimping through the viewfinder.
EVF was laggy in the Samsung but I think the tech has caught up these days, thus a mirrorless FF for me.

I don’t think I will plump for Zeiss lenses though and will be looking to use my existing Canon EF glass with the Sony by way of an adapter.

Anyone here also waiting for the A7III?

Quite a few people have bought the A7iii on the Talk Photography Forum, on paper it looks a good piece of kit and competitively priced (even launch price), just be aware that you don't get a battery charger in the box, just a USB charge adapter, so if you want to charge batteries standalone, you'll need to add a charger.

I'm not going to buy one on Preorder, but have using the older models a little bit, i'll probably buy one a little down the line, as i really struggle with the focus on a DSLR, i like the focus peaking as i often use manual focus.
