Hi all - I'm considering selling my trusted power amps. They are two boxes, each with two outputs, 400W and 150W. Here is the description provided by the recording studio I bought them from:
"The amps are Sonics 600X's, although these were manufactured for Sonics by Bryston, and are almost identical to the 5B ST, but with a different input stage. The 5B ST was a 3-channel amp, and each of the Sonics amps has 2 of the channels bridged for 400W into 8 ohms. The 3rd channel provides 150W into 8 ohms."
So essentially, what you'd be getting are two stereo amps: 2 x 400W and 2 x 150W, which is handy if you happen to have an external crossover or want to bi-amp a pair of two-way speakers.
I'll take some pictures once I get home this evening.
I'd be looking for £2,000 for the two of them.
