Soncoz LA-QXD1 with R-Pi

I'm interested in the Soncoz DAC and wonder if anyone here is using one with a Raspberry Pi 4?

Do they need a PSU each or can the powered Pi power the DAC if a USB connection is used?

I was using LA-QXD1 with Pi4. IMHO it sounds much better (warmer, less distortions, better dynamics) with one nice extra ps like iFi ps 5v. With the better ps (also iFi ps 5v) for Pi4 the sound is even better. In audio everything matters.

You can power LA-QXD1 from another USB Port on PI, but better take one iFi ps for a DAC and a normal ps for pi and later add a better ps for pi.
Golden rule in any hifi gear - better ps, better sound.
