Learning to bodge again..
I keep coming back to my A&R A60 - sounds fantastic with the right speakers but could not drive my main (before I discovered ESLs) SF Concertinos (early bi-wire version before they got bought out) for shit - sound was just closed in. A60 is 25W? A diy push/valve hybrid (kt66 or 88, can’t remember), also 20-25W, did a fantastic job with the SFs.
15W into a fixed load is 15W - a loudspeaker is not a fixed load, and the design of the amp rather than its power output dictates its performance into various speakers…IMVH, uneducated, non-amp designer & non-engineering experience
