Shahinian Arc cable sockets and Naim plugs

Undo the Naim plug, store the two plastic bits somewhere safe and and you will have two separate pins with cables attached.

Shahinian recommend Pomona double plugs, most Shahinian dealers stock them (also usually available through eBay)

The big issue with Shahinians is that you really want a sideways cable entry so that the cable can exit neatly from the rear of the speaker. In this respect the Naim Speaker Plug should be ideal, assuming that the pin spacing is the same.

Thank very much chaps. Must say that I'm looking forward to getting these. Something of an impulsive 'accidental' buy but hey ho.

Hi,

Standard spacing 19mm I think, I used to have pomona plugs on my NACA5 into Arcs, before I saw the light and replaced it.

I can vouch for pomona plugs :)
Really nice

However i would tend 2 go 4 Magomi cable - Fabulous stuff especially with Arcs

I used Avondale BlackLink Cable when I had a Naim amp hooked up to my Arcs. The plugs that the cable came with are fine.

The BlackLink is much more supple than Naim NAC A5. I kept it when I upgraded from the Naim amp to an EAR V20 integrated valve amp.

I completely recommend the Avondale gear, which is made by Les W who is on pfm.
