1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

Setting up OS X with an SSD plus HDD

    I have just upgraded my old iMac, stripped out the optical drive and replaced with a 500GB SSD and replaced the original HDD with a new 2TB HDD.

    So I have a 2TB HDD and a 500GB SSD on which I have created a fresh install of High Sierra.

    I'm just wondering which is best practice - install my apps on the HDD or the SSD?

    Definitely on the SSD.

    Keep the HDD for your documents, videos, pictures.

    I am pretty sure you don't need to enable trim any more. thats a given.

    Create a fusion drive. Or relocate the home folders to the HDD.
