[FS] See Revolver Turntable (no arm)

See Revolver Turntable. Black ash finish. No tonearm. I've fitted a new belt, as the one it came with was showing signs of age.

Apart from a few polishing marks on the lid, this is in almost new condition.

Linn geometry (211mm pivot to spindle/221mm pivot to stylus, IIRC). It would have come fitted with either a Linn Basik Plus or Jelco SA 250ST tonearm when new.

30mm tonearm mounting hole. I’ve left the Jelco 18mm collar inserted (see first photo), but it’ll come out to allow any linn geometry arm with a 30mm collar insert to be fitted.

£75 posted in the UK.

Yes. Rega arms are 11mm longer spindle to pivot than Linn arms, so have different geometry and require different armboards/mounting points.

You could fit a rega arm to this turntable with the correct collar, but the geometry would be off. It would play a record, but it would be impossible to align the stylus optimally.

Cheapest tonearm options for this are probably variations on the Linn Basik.

I had a Revolver with a Logic Datum 2 arm that was rather good (still is - my daughter has the deck now).

I have a nice condition Linn LVX tonearm available. Generally very nice condition. The counterweight is slightly loose, which I gather is a common problem with age. It has no effect on the sound. Asking £125 collected or + postage.
