Not entirely sure where the definition starts and ends, but no way would it not include a Marantz Model 7!

I heard a clone model 7, they had tried where possible to use nos parts and materials and result was a warm bath of music that effortlessly filled the room with images made flesh by the tonal richness on offer, didn’t notice anything I’d call weak, maybe softened at frequency extremes but that just made it more romantic.
I’ve kept my eyes open for the matching tuner but it’s even rarer than pre and fetches five figure price tags.

The 10B goes for around $3 k here in the US. The 7 is worth more.
