Connect to the Internet and stream services such as Spotify Connect (with Premium account), Amazon Music, Deezer and Tidal. The wi-fi and Ethernet connection also streams Internet radio. In addition, there’s DAB/FM radio and a quality CD player. A Bluetooth connection lets you stream music from your smartphone or tablet or, if you prefer a wired connection there’s also a USB-C interface. With digital and analogue inputs, it’s easy to connect a wide range of other sources, including a TV.
Stream your favourite music
Connect up to your Broadband connection via wi-fi or Ethernet and stream all the music you want. Compatible with popular services such as Spotify Connect (with Premium account), Amazon Music, Deezer and Tidal, the R3 gives you access to a near limitless range of music. If you enjoy listening to radio and podcasts from around the world, Internet radio services, including catch-up services are also on hand. Finally, UPnP connectivity lets you connect to a DNLA compatible music server, for personal music library playback.
CD player
For full compatibility with your treasured discs, the R3 is equipped with a built-in CD player. This high quality player lets you play all your existing discs without the need to transfer them to a storage device. The multi-format player is compatible with CD-R, CD-RW, MP3, WMA and AAC (320 Kbps) encoded music discs.
SmartRadio Tuner
As well as Internet radio, the R3 is equipped with a DAB/FM tuner. DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) gives access to the widest range of stations, in crisp and clear digital sound quality. In case your favourite stations aren't available in DAB, this Ruark radio is also equipped with an FM tuner.
Wireless Bluetooth connection
High quality Bluetooth aptX connectivity gives you near CD quality sound, wirelessly. Connect your smartphone, tablet or other Bluetooth music source and effortlessly stream your stored music or streaming music services.

Link it up and you’ll enjoy a boost to the sound that easily beats most TV’s built-in speakers. RCA phono inputs are ideal for connecting analogue sources – such as a turntable with built-in phonostage, or even a cassette deck (RCA phono outputs are also standard). For a direct connection with your HiRes player, smartphone or computer, there’s also a USB-C connection for playback and charge.
