Royd sintra speakers

Well after a lovely visit to a fellow pfm member to hear royds iv sourced some Sintra 11s local to me
Looking forward to setting them up and comparing to my sbls should be fun

I've got the Sintra 2 in my computer's system, and I'm quite happy with them. They would also do a lovely job on a system for a smallish room. Of course, they benefit from good amplification. Mine are currently being driven by my FrankenAmp, a dual-mono amp with the old boards from my NAP110, Avondale CAP6, and Hammond iron-core transformers:

I've also driven them with a full Avondale NCC200 stereo amp, and they sound even better. Really nice speakers!

Sintras are fabulous speakers. Amongst the best; all the speed and impact that Royd was known for but with a lovely top end, too.
