Richard Allan speakers?

I have just seen a nice pair of Richard Allan monitor 8 speakers in a local 2nd hand audio / repair shop in very nice condition.
But I cant find any specific info regarding spec or era of manufacture, I am very interested to hear if anyone has info or experience of these speakers or other Richard Allan speakers, these look pre 1990.

^ Circa early to mid 80's iirc.

I had a pair of Richard Allan RA82L loudspeakers in home made enclosures.

Very good for very little money.

The Richard Allan HP8B is one excellent 8" bass driver.

I have read that a special re-enforce basket version of the RA HP8B was used to create an under the floorboard type bass horns.

One of those wacky project stories published in one of the less than mainstream Hi-Fi magazines in the 1980's, Hi-Fi Answers or Practical Hi-Fi, can't recall which!

Defecting Gray becomes more evident each and every day.

I still have my RA 8HB drivers which I bought to build the HIFi answers subwoofer to go with Videoton Minimax 2 speakers.The surrounds have now come adrift from the bextrene cones and need to be re-attached.
