Repairing an Epson 3in1 printer...

After four years of excellent service my L405 started playing up.
Failing to feed paper or taking it all and then choking on it.

After an air dusting and clean, no change at all. Thinks, must be the take up rollers.
Order a set up and give it whirl.

It's not the most obvious unit to get into/disassemble and access the parts to change but I worked it out.
While there I was alarmed at the amount of rust on the metal parts so a rather greater strip down ensued, along with best efforts of clearing the rust. ( the salt air and humidity are very cruel to metals and electronics here ) This also meant the unit benefited from a really extensive clean out and relube.
I managed to reassemble with the new rollers and no left over screws!

Success! Running like new :D
