Relaxin' with the Miles Davis Quintet in stereo?

Unknown release date and a "special for Jazz mail order" by ZYX Music. They are a German company formed in 1971 and have loads of sub labels reissuing all sorts of rock, pop and dance music as well as Jazz. Most of their Jazz reissues on LP seem to be from the 80's and early 90's on LP and later on CD. Still in business. They covered some good Jazz labels, but quality unknown to me. I doubt it was anywhere near the original master tape.

Probably a mistake as Stunsworth says, but a possibility that it electronically reprocessed Stereo? In which case it would be pretty awful.

1957 could be very early Stereo have the Mono AP/kevin gray version
This was recorded by Rudy Van Gelder in May and October 1956. Van Gelder did not start recording to two track tape until 1957. Then for two years from 1957 - 59 the tapes were considered 'Experimental'. The first Stereo masters were cut by him in early 1959, although majority were then still not mixed in Stereo and were balanced with only one speaker, the instruments just split to two channels. He still preferred mono at that time as he quickly realised he would have to reposition instruments in a stereo soundstage, especially moving the Bass to the centre, to be able to cut a good dynamic master.
