Rega TT-PSU Dead?!

Hi all,

Before I contact my dealer I thought it worth asking here in case I've done something silly...

I came to listen to my new RP6 tonight. Turned on the TT-PSU using the button on the front... Nothing. No light, no power to the TT. Everything else on the same socket is working as it should and I've tried the PSU in a different socket and there is still no power...

I've owned this (TT / PSU package) for less than a week and used it just three times (due to tardiness in installing a cartridge).

Any clues before I contact my supplier?

Thanks.

Update... I've dug out the power lead from my old Mk 1 TT-PSU (which I was using with my old P3-24) and it powers up the new PSU.

The conclusion then is that somehow the mains lead/transformer on the new unit has failed. Do these things have a replaceable internal fuse?

Moomaloo,

Send me a PM with your address details and we will sort out a new power lead for the ttpsu, sounds like a failure in the ttpsu lead.

Apologies,

Paul Darwin
