  1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

Rega Saturn R late 2015 cd/dac player in excellent condition, looked after very carefully.

    Stunning review from Jason Kennedy

Boxed with remote. Been used a lot recently as a dac.

Selling as moving into streaming/server technology.

These are £1700 new. Looking for £850.

Due to the delicate transport mechanism contained within , would be happy to meet up socially distanced halfway to a distance of 50 - 100 miles, so item can be safely handed over. I am based in Caterham, Surrey close to M25 near Croydon.

    Thanks for looking.

Hadn’t clocked that you can use this as a stand-alone DAC too - quite a steal...

    I voted remain !

For ease of delivery and concerns about cd mechanisms being trashed by couriers, UK sale only please.

Yes it can be used as a standalone DAC too and the designer told me the one in the Saturn R is slightly superior to the DAC R. It remains a mighty fine highly musical cd player first and foremost though.

I was using the Saturn R DAC with a Node 2i as an introduction into streaming, so yes a multi talented player.

Na, I don't buy that. I have a Saturn-R and a DAC here, I've also had a DAC-R in the house and I had an earlier DAC than the one I have, and the differences between them all is so slight as to be insignificant. If there is any difference I can't hear it.

I'm sure they have tweaked the DAC a bit over the years but sonically I don't think it actually changes much.

Getting some interest, but here's a whopping £50 discount off to make it £800, to help seal the deal.

Buy now before it goes, don't live with any regrets !!

    It's painful, I've been there.
