Just a facelift to match the other units in the range. Internally identical to the previous Aria.

I used the the Aria with my Rp6 and now my Rp10 and it sounds fantastic with both. Truth be told- I’ve been saving for the Aura only because I don’t switch cartridges so having the capability to switch between MM and MC is a waste for me.
Either way the Aria is a great phono amp for the price!
The Aria will definitely be better then the phono MC because it has it’s own power supply.

wondering how an original iOS stacks up against the Aria. Don't need a MM stage and I would think the IOS would be an improvement

Do you mean an original IOS or Aura?

The IOS- it was Rega’s Reference Phono amp- more than 3 times the price.
