Anyone know a simple and free way of reducing a video file size? I'm using a Sony RX100iii to shoot video and a Windows 10 PC. A friend with a Mac tells me it's easy with QuickTime. Is there something similar in Windows? Cheers
Handbrake will do what you need. https://handbrake.fr/downloads.php
Be aware that transcoding is always a trade-off, you either sacrifice image quality or storage space. Decide on the size you need and tweak the values until you get acceptable images for that size - h264 is pretty much universal and high quality these days.
