Don't agree. Where the hell they come from, I have no idea, unless it is the labels that continually shed fibres, but all that I get on records is that - tiny fibres, and it doesn't matter if they've been washed or not, not that I ever wash anything much beyound second-hand purchases.
Not sure if it applies to those, or not, but Nagaoka were all but unobtainable around 18-24 months back and I bought some lookalikes - about 10mm or so too long so did not fit a standard outer sleeve - a serious PITA.
