Rare Earth - Get Ready

Haven’t heard this in years and had totally forgotten about it! My partner and I walked into a bar in Rotterdam North, total crowd was three locals playing cards who gave us the “strangers in the camp” look. Typical Dutch music on the sound system, Frans Bauer or something like that.

We asked the bar man if he could maybe play something a bit more lively but didn’t expect the full twenty minute live version of Get Ready! He also wound the wick up and the sound system was surprisingly good! Great to hear this again – not sure if the card players agreed though.

I really don't rate it. Typical 70s extended ****ery to me.. but here you go...

Can't say I totally disagree, yes it's a bit/very dated but good to hear something unexpected in a location like we were in.
