Thank you. The only issue is the 10L’s were designed and built by Spendor for Quad, who stuck their badge and grilles on, in an attempt to replicate their ESL speaker sound in a smaller cabinet. They bear little or no resemblance to the 11L series and the accompanying floorstanders. I’ve heard the 11L and, whilst good, didn’t quite understand the fuss around them. The 10L is a very different beast imo

The 10Ls are superb little speakers, easily beating the Chinese built models that followed.

I bought some " Made in China " Quad floorstanders a few years back, to scratch an itch plus they were cheap, they were absolutely awful. Build quality was fine, the sound however was flat & lifeless, sold on within a few weeks.
