I still have a load of back issues piled up, like many, I was a regular purchaser but it became very dull.

The review section was always very thorough.

It is very sad & highlights the wider problems within the music industry.

Shame, though I always preferred Uncut because of the sampler CDs. I bought a good few records on the back of those discs, which is a win-win for all concerned.

Like others used to be an avid reader - used to take me ages to get through the reviews and alas moved onto Mojo.

Music monthlies seem to have a golden era and once that passes they're on borrowed time. Bit like many nightclubs or restaurants. Q's been a bit rubbish since the mid '90's, I'm surprised it carried on this long. I bought it religiously from '88 to about '95 when, like Select, it disappeared down a britpop rabbit hole.
