Psybient (ish)

Between Interval - "Secret Observatory" and the other albums

Carbon Based Lifeforms - "VLA" especially.

Fanger and Schönwälder - their "Analog Overdose" series

CBL's World of Sleepers takes some beating.
Must get round to exploring some of Ultimae's other artists.
I have to admit to not really being too sure what counts as 'Psybient' or not.
Another favourite of mine is 'Dreamtime Submersible' by Evan Marc & Steve Hillage (yes, that Steve Hillage) Cd is unobtainium price wise but widely available tidal/download.

Would this release fit the description? It's a bit of a fave.

Well Alex, what an admission from the OP

I have tried a few, some ok, but unlikely to buy in.

Bloss

OTT - The Queen of All Everything

That's one of my favourite tracks ever... infact I'm going to listen to it now.

Also Rogue Bagel is great...

I listened to that Microphase album and loved it! Super ambient. I wouldn't call it PSYbient.. that has more psy trance elements.

One album this reminded me of (another favourite) is Alva Noto - Xerrox Vol. 2

Checking out Between Interval now - Thanks, looks promising.

Ooh!

You gotta love Roon, the latest version has become really good at understanding what you like and makes useful suggestions.

Following me dipping into some of the suggestions in this thread, Roon suggested this:

Really rather good. The vibe is very like Carbon Based Lifeforms

PS accidentally posted this in the Ultimae Records thread - but its relevant there too!

I have most of the Ultimae output....It is all rather well put together, produced etc. Where if fails is that it is incredibly samey if listened to a lot.
