Pro-ject Prebox S2 Digital

Hi! I´ve bought a Pro-ject Prebox S2 Digital and I have a problem. When I connect either my Cambridge Audio with optical cable or my Pioneer PD-D6 with coaxial cable to the DAC, it appears a red light on the display of the DAC. So the DAC doesn´t recognise neither the Cambridge Audio nor the Pioneer. To recognise it, it should appear a white light on the display instead of red. Do you know the reason? Thank you

Hi! I´ve tried changing cables and the problem continues. So I must download de latest firmware connecting the DAD to the computer. Thank you

Simple things, have you selected the right input ? If using a windows PC have you set it up correctly ?

For example -
Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound
Playback: select Speaker/ProJect Pre Box S2 Digital
Properties > Supported formats: make sure nothing is assigned
Level > Sound: setting must be 100
Enhancements: disable all enhancements
Advanced > Default Format: set to studio quality 24/192

If you get no joy then contact the retailer who sold it to you who should offer you support.
