"Pro-Ject Pre Box S2 digital" vs. "Mytek DSD 192"

As written my MDAC died and I need a replacement until the FDAC materialized....
I am looking for DSD capabilities and do not want to spend more than 500 EUR (it is a step in between...).
I think a new "Pro-Ject Pre Box S2 digital" or a used "Mytek DSD 192" can do the job.
Is anyone here who has heard the DAC's and can describe them?
Ideally perhaps compared to an MDAC?

The mytek isn't as 'dark' sounding as the mdac other than that theyre quite close in sound.

I'd get the project if it was my money

I never heard the Pro-Ject.

IMO the Mytek 192 DSD was clearly better than the M-DAC. More detailed and natural sounding.

Even the best device won't work without electricity....
After the plug was plugged back into the device, there were no more problems.
