Pro-ject DSA streamer won't turn on flashing green light on PSU

Not strictly diy I know but very knowledgable people here I'm hoping can help. Have a pro-ject dsa streamer as in title. Second time of use, (totalling less than an hour but purchased many years ago). Was playing then just turned off and left with a flashing green light on the psu. Unplugged the psu does not flash so assuming the problem is with the unit. Tried a few different sockets to see if the supply was at fault but same result. Is it bricked? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Should point out I don't know my arse from my elbow regarding electronics.

Thanks

It could be a fault with either the supply or the unit.

I don’t know how much a replacement supply is but that’s where I would start.

Perhaps, as you haven’t used it for some time, it’s indicating it needs firmware update?

Maybe a dumb answer as I’ve just noticed you said on the PSU.

Thanks for the replies. I'm thinking more the unit as the psu only flashes when plugged in. When not plugged into the unit it is a solid green light.

Does the psu power some sort of battery or capacitor "never connected" arrangement inside ?
Many be the battery or capacitor is dead....
Whatever...its worth a look I side the unit for obvious causes
