Picture Quiz #15

The usual format, 10 pictures as clues to 10 well-known songs with one common theme. As last time the link is quite easy, however, the clues are to lines from the songs and not necessarily to the song titles. Im looking for the song, artist/writer and the line in the song - and the connection, of course, which you'll need to break the quiz anyway. I won't give anything away on guesses for the link, you need to 'show your working'... I'll let this one simmer for as long as it takes but I'll not be around from 8 pm and overnight - if you need that long ;)

Possibly “Weather” as the connection?

Looks like the massive head start everyone had is...well...not much of an advantage yet!;)
