pics while learning a Nikon Z50

didn't wish to clutter the picaweek thread with snaps, but thought it may be useful to post a few examples of files from the Z50. Those not intheknow, it's nikons 2 year old APSC mirrorless offering. Somewhere around 21Dpi sensor with 2 lenses only at present on a DX version of the new S mount, as used by the bigger brothers, Z's 5/6/7.

For now I can't use NEF files since I have not yet worked out how to get the Mac to read them so all these will be JPEF Fine/Large files unless i mention otherwise.

I bought and downloaded all 968 pages of Thom Hogan's Z50 guide. Invaluable stuff to get the very best from it.

16mm f3.5 and 1/400th on P. All settings as out of box. Dull day.

A day later and I've been applying some of Thom's suggestions to file settings. Of note, Colour profile back to SRGB (from Adobe yesterday) and colour setting to 'Neutral' instead of 'Auto'.
ISO limited to 1600. VR off. No sharpening etc.

250mm f6.3 1/160th ISO 100. Another dull day.
