Cats are heat seeking objects. It must relate to their origins in the deserts of Egypt and Turkey. I've seen photos of blacksmiths' cats, curled up next to the furnace.

Thank you. Yes very much so, along with great memories. We won't have another dog for a few years now as Mrs Ian and I want to do more travelling. But we will definitely have another.
I am reliant now on stroking other people's animals and enjoying the excellent pictures posted here.
