I don’t know if Wizard’s Familiars count as pets, but mine materialised as I was strolling round the old chapel’s graveyard today.

Today is the 3rd anniversary of Ludo's "Gotcha" day and it's become a little tradition that I take the day of work and spend it with him. Today, as he loves a beach, I took him to one that was new to both of us, Seacliff Beach in East Lothian, which he seemed to enjoy.

There is quite a bit of interest at the beach (which we had to ourselves until we were leaving and some hardy wild swimmers arrived) including views to Tantallon Castle and what's supposed to be Scotland's smallest harbour:

Seems a giant black cat that visits us is getting very friendly (well to us, not next door's cat if she visits) , he's easily twice the size of our cats.

note his special pillowcase. His bed is a large grey cushion, but he hates things that are grey - he shreds them. The pillowcase prevents that.
